Natural Patina (Standard Finish)
Auroralights hallmark finish is natural copper,
aged by the elements over time to form a patina. Local climatic factors such as
precipitation, sun exposure, or humidity all contribute to the development of a
natural patina. Generally, untreated copper and brass turn dark in about 30
days of outdoor exposure. As time goes by, copper assumes a deep red hue, while
brass slowly darkens. Spots of green may start coloring the copper in a few
years. Natural patina harmonizes perfectly with any outdoor setting.

Auroralight fixtures ship with a natural
brushed copper finish that develops a patina over time (see illustrations). To
specify another finish, please select from the options below. Contact factory
for lead time on non-standard finishes.
Bronze Living Patina
Our Bronze Living Patina is an accelerated patina

wait for nature to take its time and paint their

coated and continues to age outdoors. Unique coloring
will keep developing based on local climatic
conditions.
