The Kalahari's flowing copper shade and crisp halogen lamp bring the outdoors to life after dark. As in the Kalahari Desert, where the annual rainfall conjures up a spectacular wildlife show, our luminaire reveals the night in a new, vibrant light. Proportioned for garden pathways and smaller scale paved areas. The Kalahari like its larger relative the PL9 Serengeti, features the Advanced Optical System^TM that combines vertical beam control (ALP), with a variety of Directional Reflectors™ for horizontal beam control. The ALP mechanism allows for easy adjustment to accommodate a wide range of site conditions. The DR controls the pattern of light on the ground. Adding an Internal Diffusion^TM accessory (ID) will scatter the light for a softer glow with no shadowing. The Kalahari is built to withstand the test of time and is backed by Auroralight's exclusive no hassle Lifetime Warranty, protecting the luminaire against any misfortune, even accidental damage.
